The shelter relies on both full-time staff and volunteers. Most of our funding comes from donations and fund-raising activities. In addition, we accept non-cash donations. There are many ways that you can help us.
We hope that you find this site enjoyable and informative.
The Oakville & District Humane Society is excited to announce that we have been approved for a grant to upgrade our IT Infrastructure. The grant has been generously awarded to us by The Ontario Trillium Foundation. Over the course of the next year, we will be upgrading our hardware and software, allowing us to better serve the communities of Oakville & Milton. We will also be upgrading our website for a more user friendly and interactive look.
